Knights of Columbus Insurance

Fraternal Benefits

Being a Knight of Columbus provides benefits to those beyond the member. Family members also have access to certain benefits that are provided as part of being in the Knights of Columbus family.

One of the often overlooked benefits is accidental death coverage for members and their spouses at no cost. This benefit extends to the spouse even though the Knight of Columbus member has passed away, as long as the member and his council were in good standing at the time of death.

Your Shield for Life

One of the largest issues facing the Venrable founder of the Knights of Columbus, Father Michael J. McGivney, was the tragic loss of life of Catholic men in his parish, most of whom left behind widows and orphans with insufficient financial resources. Convinced there was a way to change this, he brought the men of his parish together with a "pass-the-hat" insurance system to protect his flock.

Over time, the Knights of Columbus insurance program has evolved into a multi-billion dollar, top-rated insurance program. Members in the United States and Canada have exclusive access to our insurance program and products, including life insurance, retirement annuities, long-term care insurance, and disability income insurance.
